RN-BSN PROGRAM OPTIONS

Are you currently a licensed RN or a new graduate of an ADN/ASN program?

Are you newly admitted to an ADN/ASN program?This program is for students who are getting ready to start an ADN/ASN program or considering applying to one.

Have you already started an ADN/ASN program? This program is for eligible students who have completed 3 semesters in an ADN/ASN program.

Admission

Requirements

You must have a current unencumbered license or a document stating the anticipated date of completion of an ADN/ASN program.

*If you reside in a state outside of Alabama, contact AUCON to ensure approved clinical assignments are eligible in your state.
RN-BSN students are eligible to begin the program with two outstanding core requirements which must be completed by the final semester of enrollment in the online program.
Fall, Spring & Summer admission

All classes must be completed with a C or better and minimum of 2.5 GPA

  • NURS 3840 - Formation of Professional Nursing Practice (5)

  • NURS 3810 - Holistic Nursing Pathophysiology & Health Assessment (5)

 

Semester 2 ​

  • NURS 3830 - Evidence-Based Practice (5)

  • NURS 4830 - Leadership & Management in Professional Nursing (3)

 

Semester 3 ​

  • NURS 4840 - Transition to Professional Nursing Practice (5)

  • NURS 4850 - Clinical Prevention & Population Health (4)
